The Vision for Community

As Christians, we have the mandate to bring His Kingdom here on Earth as it is in Heaven. Here at Hidden Treasures, we do this by individually and corporately

Discovering God’s purpose for our lives,

Developing Godly character and relationships and

Delivering God’s message of hope.

Prayer Walks & Drives

We understand the value of prayer and scripture says in Psalm 34:15 “The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry.” For this we know that our Heavenly Father hears us as we pray for our city, our country and our world.

We pray the heart of God (His desire) which is mentioned in 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” We pray to be Spirit-led so that we can become available for the Father’s purpose.

We encourage our church to conduct prayer walks or drives in their neighborhoods &/or the surrounding areas of Camden County. To pray for the lost but also to intercede for other churches in our area to reach the lost and to grow in Christ. It is not all about us, but to accomplish all that God has for us to do for His Kingdom!

Our Prayer Night is every Tuesday for 1 hour (6:30pm) we invite you to come & pray with us.

Jail Ministry

We believe it’s important to take seriously what JESUS said in Matthew 25:36, ” I was in prison and you visited me.” Men from the church go to the Woodbine jail and the Substation, to pray with and encourage inmates.

Since 2007 our Jail Ministry has encouraged inmates with the saving message of Jesus Christ and have seen over 100 men surrender their lives to God and get baptized in water (in a huge horse trough in the County’s Garage). Many inmates are quickly transferred to other county or state correctional facilities but we are thankful to share the Gospel with them while they are there.

As we teach the inmates with Scripture we also have to live it out when many of them are released and try to head back home. God makes it possible for us to have the finances & resources to help them on their new found journey, a new life as a Believer in Jesus Christ.

We encourage you to pray for us as we reach out to those that many have given up on. To encourage these men that we are no different and that we all need Jesus in our lives. We are always looking for volunteers to join with us in ministering to those who are behind bars literally & spiritually to help them find freedom in Jesus.
